SubPaw ("we", "our", or "the app") is a subscription tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication credentials. Passwords are handled securely through Firebase Authentication and are never stored in plain text.
- Subscription Data: Information you enter about your subscriptions, including names, costs, billing cycles, categories, and notes. This data is stored to provide you with the core functionality of the app.
- App Settings: Your preferences such as currency, language, notification settings, and theme selection.
- Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile identifier from Google. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or other Google services.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Provide and maintain the subscription tracking service
- Send you renewal reminders and notifications you have opted into
- Sync your data across devices when you are signed in
- Improve the app experience based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns
4. Data Storage and Security
- Cloud Storage: If you create an account, your data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore) with per-user access controls. Only you can access your own data.
- Local Storage: App settings and subscription data are also cached locally on your device for offline access.
- Encryption: All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your subscription data is private and only accessible to you. We use the following third-party services solely for app functionality:
- Firebase Authentication: For secure sign-in and account management
- Firebase Firestore: For cloud data storage and synchronization
- Google Sign-In: As an optional authentication method
6. Notifications
SubPaw may send you local push notifications to remind you about upcoming subscription renewals and trial endings. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the app settings or in your device settings.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all your data within the app at any time
- Edit or delete any subscription data
- Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us
- Export your data in CSV or PDF format
- Opt out of notifications at any time
8. Children's Privacy
SubPaw is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
